Boeing is the world’s largest aerospace company and a leading supplier of rockets, engines, jetliners and flight systems.Boeing recently announced a partnership with Space Adventures, a company preparing for the space tourism industry of the future.
With previously successful and organized civilian trips aboard the Soyuz spaceship to the space station for well-heeled space tourists, Space Adventures is looking to expand its services by pairing with Boeing to offer trips to the international space station.
Although there are no reports of costs for these trips, Soyuz passenger, Guy Laliberte, paid $35 million for a 10-day trip.
