We know you’ve been thinking about it. Getting a pet for your kids or a dog to have to cuddle at night or even just a cat to play around with when you’re home. Well here’s the chance.
People don’t realize black dogs and cats are most likely to be overlooked and forgotten at shelters, leading to these animals never finding homes. So that’s why today there’s a pet adoption drive featuring only black dogs and cats!
I bet you’ve never heard of “Black” Dog Syndrome.” It’s a problem darker and black animals have most often, keeping them from being noticed in shelters and kennels. Black dogs are more often overlooked for lighter colored dogs which ultimately leads to these animals being euthanized.
Well that can be changed today with the pet adoption drive here in Charlotte.
