Our very own South Carolina boy, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Darius Rucker[/lastfm], will be spending his July 4th at the Music City’s Riverfront Park helping celebrate the holiday with the three-day event, Let Freedom Sing. Who else sis set to perform and whats gonna make this festival so awesome?
In the past few years a long list of artists from [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Trace Adkins[/lastfm] to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Julianne Hough[/lastfm] have taken the stage at the July 4th celebration. Even the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dirt Drifters [/lastfm]and a gospel artist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jaci Velasquez [/lastfm]has performed during the festival. This year Darius will be accompanied by the Nashville Symphony and a few other artists like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ayla Brown[/lastfm], the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Willis Clan[/lastfm], the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cleverlys[/lastfm] and the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dirty Guv’nah’s[/lastfm].
One of the coolest events during the festival will be the display of one of the largest American flags which flew above the wreckage at Ground Zero during 9/11 and a concert with the band [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Port Chuck[/lastfm].
More info about the event and the concert should be coming out over the next few weeks. Till then check out the event website.
Check out some awesome pictures of when Darius was on our Redneck Yacht Club!
