Now its no surprise that you would have two songs saying almost the same thing but in different music genre’s is it? I don’t think its that crazy but instead is really cool. I’d have to say I found the same meanings behind a song from [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Zac Brown Band[/lastfm] and a song from the rock group [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Shinedown[/lastfm].
If you missed it a couple weeks ago I told yall how I felt about the song “Colder Weather” by the Zac Brown band and an in depth look of what the song meant to me. (Check it Out Here) Now the best thing about music is everyone interprets songs different. Though I felt that the song was about a guy wanting to be with a girl but not being able to handle the full relationship, some thought it talked about losing a loved one.
So maybe it wasn’t the fact that he didn’t wanna be in the relationship but at the time for some reason things weren’t working out with the girl. Instead of hanging around and sitting in the same spot and just “spinning the tires.” Maybe he thought it was best to take some time away and get some space. When he leaves he realizes how bad it hurts to be away, and by the end of the song he feels he can’t go back even though its what his heart wants.
The crazy thing was I realized a song that Shinedown recorded that has a lot of similarities and almost talks about the same things. But what song?
