There sure are a lot of good ol’ boys from Georgia popping up in the country charts these days, and [lastfm]Colt Ford[/lastfm] told us how proud he is of that in Nashville at the CMA Music Festival. Colt is excited to check out a few of his Georgia buddies at the festival this year. Can you guess who his favorites are?
When was your first CMA Music Festival or Fan Fair?
2008, and it’s certainly changed a lot. I was playing some little-bitty stage nowhere, and the next year I got to play the Chevy stage in front of the arena, and last year it was river stage, and this year, it’s the closing slot on the river stage.
Who are you most excited to see play at the CMA Music Festival?
I love live music, so anybody who gets up there and brings it—I’m a fan of seeing that. I’ll go see Jason and Zac for sure—Georgia boys are doing all right now.
What’s next for you?
Heading out on tour.
