Irwin Creek and Stewart Creek

Located in the center city area of Charlotte, these trails make up over 2 miles of a relaxing creekside walk. This greenway links several neighborhoods and parks, in and around Uptown Charlotte, including Frazier Park, Wesley Heights neighborhood and Seversville Park. Amenities that can be found along the trail include soccer fields, playgrounds and a recreation center with a gymnasium at the Philip O. Berry Center. The Irwin and Stewart Creek Greenway is great for biking, walking, jogging, roller blading or walking your dogs. Be sure to look out for the old railroad that runs along two portions of the trail, the three tunnels, the public art and the Children’s Memorial Walkway and Garden.
