I first heard about this video this past Saturday night sitting in the green room at Coyote Joes before [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Josh Kelley[/lastfm]‘s show. He was talking about bringing out a new album, but then everyone got ahold of “Naleigh Moon.” Whats the song about? How personal is the video?
It’s probably one of my favorite things, to sit there with an artist and get to know them personally. Most will tell ya a lot about themselves and there lives, and thats exactly how Josh was. I’ve always like the song “Naleigh Moon” off the Georgia Clay album, even though I really can’t relate too it because I don’t have a daughter of my own or any kids at that. When it come to Josh though, its what this song’s all about, his daughter with Katherine Heigl! Yes the actress!
I guess Josh was ready to move onto a second album, when all of a sudden a video got put together featuring his daughter to the song and people started to really love it! So Katherine actually was the one who directed the vide you will see now! Check it out:
