Another celebrity arrested for being drunk in public?  I don’t know why we are ever surprised about things like this, but I gotta say I’m surprised that out of anyone [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Randy Travis[/lastfm] would be one to get busted for public intoxication!  

This morning Randy was picked up outside the First Baptist Church in Sanger, Texas after police were called about a suspicious vehicle.  When the Denton Country police department was called at 1:30 an officers pulled up to find him “smelling like alcohol” and also had a bottle of wine in the car.

What was he doing outside of a church that late at night drinkin a bottle of wine?!?  Well he does own a ranch in Tioga, Texas which is located about 25 miles northeast of Sanger.  But 25 miles is a long while away to be sitting in your car drinking.  Let alone the fact your drinking in your car!

I know we all have rough days, and rough nights, but to do something so immature and irresponsible?  I guess I just think of all the folks that look up to him and love his music and hope he gets his act together.  This time he only got a misdemeanor but hope it ends there.  Drinkin and Drivin just isn’t worth it.
