I know one thing, ok maybe two things that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Willie Nelson[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Snoop Dogg[/lastfm] have in common, one of which is music, the other, well I think you can figure it out.  But now it looks like Snoop is just one of the many that will be joining Willie’s new album Heroes! 

Well it looks like Snoop is just one of many!  Other artists that are set to join Willie are [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kris Kristofferson[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jamey Johnson[/lastfm] who will be on a new song called “Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die.”  Yea that really fits Willie, and I find it pretty funny!

The new album hits stores May 15th and feature just about 14 songs with everyone from Merle Haggard, to Ray Price, and even Sheryl Crow!  Even his two sons, Lukah and Micah will be on Heroes.

Supposedly the album will feature classic country songs like “My Window Faces the South” and even classic rock songs like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Pearl Jam[/lastfm]‘s “Just Breathe.” Now to me I think its crazy that he’s doing cover songs because i think he has so many originals to offer but I think its gonna be cool to hear!  Guess we will see when it comes out May 15th!

Now not only is Willie working on this but he was also featured on [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lionel Richie[/lastfm]‘s country album Tuskegee!
