Country mega-couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert celebrate a year of marriage today, May 14th and their first year of matrimony together has proven to be heck of a roller coaster. From sweeping the CMA Awards and a thrilling Super Bowl duet performance, to long stretches of time apart and the tragic losses of Blake’s dad and Miranda’s long time friend, the couple have remained strong in their bond through the ups and downs.

The couple first met at CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets Concert in 2005 and their was chemistry from the start, despite the fact that Blake was a married man. Blake divorced a year later, and the rest is history, like something straight from a hit country song!
