Alongside tour buddies Kip Moore and David Nail, Billy Currington brought his high flying, boot tapping tour to the Time Warner Cable Uptown Amphitheatre on May 18.

Kip Moore opened the show with a 20-minute set that included his hit ‘Somethin’ Bout A Truck’.  Playing to thousands only topped off his night of good news which also included news that his single is currently sitting at number three on the Billboard country charts.

As the sun set in the Carolina skies, David Nail took the stage wearing a charming t-shirt with a “don’t go out alone without a Lite” slogan etched across the front.  The stage was burning with country heat as David sang his own top hit, “Let It Rain” to an audience who was singing along loudly.  And though the energy from David’s set was admirable, everyone made sure to keep their excitement for the curly-haired country chart topper Billy Currington.

He showed off how good he was at drinking beer as he downed a bottle or two during his set that featured his chart topping hits.  From “Good Directions” to “Like My Dog,” no one left unhappy during the high energy country show!
