So, I’m having a pretty typical Friday; rushed, crazy hectic kinda Friday.  While I am in our production room getting some things done, Tanner waves me back into the studio.  Now, being a Friday, my first reaction is irritation.  I don’t have a moment to waste.  Almost every second on a Friday is accounted for on my schedule.

I walked into the studio and in there is a lovely young lady named Cassandra and her husband.  Cassandra is in our radio family and somewhere along the way I was lucky enough to say something or do something in my job that touched her, that made a difference to her in some way.  Im not worthy.  But apparently it’s true.

Cassandra called our promotions director prior and asked her what my favorite color is.  It’s purple.  Cassandra hand crocheted this exquisite afghan for me!!  Isn’t it gorgeous?!?!  I’m so humbled to accept such a gift.  I don’t deserve it.  Its truly such a loving and unselfish random act of kindness on Cassandra’s part.

She’s inspired me to do something, ANYTHING, to make someone’s day brighter and it prompts me to humbly ask you to do the same.  We all can’t whip up an amazing work of art like Cassandra did.  But we can do something, anything, to make someone’s day better.
