Things are really starting to heat up for new band The Farm! After announcing that their self-titled debut album will be hitting shelves on July 17, the band experience another big celebration. The trio’s new single “Home Sweet Home” broke top 20 on the Billboard & Mediabase country charts! PLUS they’ll be performing live at Corona Island, our tailgate party before the Tim McGraw/Kenny Chesney show on June 24!
Nick Hoffman, Damien Horne and Krista Marie met in Nashville after pursuing three separate music careers. Damien is a songwriting pro having working with John Rich’s songwriting group Muzikmafia. Nick is no amateur when it comes to live music, he spent time as Kenny Chesney‘s fiddle player on the road. And Krista knows what it’s like to sing great country music as she is a former solo artist with Broken Bow Records. Together, the three musicians came together to form The Farm in 2010.
Just two years later, after pursuing a path straight to Warner Music Nashville’s Elektra Records, the group is quickly blazing up the charts. This week, they sit comfortably at the #20 spot on the country charts just days before performing on the CMT Music Awards.
Though the band is new to the scene, their work ethic is unmatched. “We camped out in a studio every day for two weeks from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.,” Nick admits. “There was evolution and experimenting, things that wouldn’t have happened if we had done it any other way.” They bring a mix of country, pop, hip hop and a ton of talent to the table with a flair for modern, classic and reinvented country.
