Bullying is ordinarily associated with kids being mean to other kids.  But it can come in all nasty forms.  You may remember the story this week of Karen Kline.  She’s the grandmotherly school bus monitor that was taunted and tortured by middle school students on her bus.  It was caught on video and it reportedly was just another day in the life of Karen.

It was horrible to watch and it literally makes me cry.  Reportedly the kids parents were horrified and I don’t doubt that.

When a television reporter was talking to Mrs. Kline she revealed that she hasnt had a vacation in years.  SO, someone very wonderful made a website for her where people can go and donate money to her vacation fund.  Guess how much money has been raised so far??  350,ooo$$$$  Whoohoo!!  Good for you Karen!  I know that money wont erase the feelings you felt while being bullied but I hope it does buy you the trip of a lifetime (plus lots extra to help you take care of other things you may need).
