Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is part of an autograph session Saturday at SouthPark Mall where fans can pay $150 to get an autograph from him.

Now remember he signs tons of autographs for free at training camp, but this is an event that is set up by a “for profit” sports company! It is something a lot of athletes are starting to take part in.

I just think paying for an autograph kinda makes it less sentimental. I like to feel like the person wants to give me their autograph, not needs to be compensated for it.

For 150 bucks I would like Cam to come to my house and play catch with me! Wonder if he has a price for that?
