The Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater last night was a cowboy throw down. But aside from Luke Bryan’s rendition of Magic Mike when he was singing Shake it for Me, my favorite part of the show was the tailgating before it. Perhaps because I was at The New 103.7 tailgate hanging with the listening family, my buddies! Love you guys!
For starters, Cooling the Carolinas hooked up the misters so it was 10 degrees cooler under our tent.
The Chris Lane Band was playing while we all played Cornhole.
The Chris Lane Band put on a little concert in itself. I was singing everything from Eric Church to Nelly, to originals that went #1 on iTunes.
They even played Old Crowe Medicine Show. One of the members, Ketch Secor grew up down the street from me growing up. A small surburan street in small town Virginia. #randomfunfact
Plus we also gave out tickets to meet Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean!
Hate you missed out — so come to the next New 103.7 tailgate party.
Hope to see you there,
