We’ve all been where new artist Kristen Kelly has been before in her hit song – at a bar trying to drown our sorrows in a cocktail (which never works by the way, might I add).
But how about having your husband cheat on you … with your best friend!? Now that’s the lowest of the lows to feel, and to do – perhaps the worst case scenario of any sad country song! And that’s why up and coming country star Kristen Kelly sings “I’ve got an ex old-man and an ex best girlfriend” in her new hit song climbing the charts, my pick of the week: Ex Old Man
And sadly that seems to happen a lot. On and off the Maury Povich show.
I personally wouldn’t hook up with a guy who had a girlfriend whom I didn’t know, let alone my girlfriend …but that’s apparently not the case for the villain in Kristen Kelly’s song. Has anyone ever had that happen? What did you do?
