“What Women Want” can be found at Hickory Tavern’s new ladies’ happy hour. Even though what we want tends to change on a weekly basis, girls always wanna have fun. That never changes, right ladies?

And we want girl’s nights where we can get cheap fruity drinks since men aren’t buying! And you’ll get what you want at Hickory Tavern in Mooresville from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday night. Not to mention healthy build-your-own salads and a full out dinner menu. Unlike many sports bars whose menu options include stuff fresh off the Sysco truck (as in fried and not actually fresh).

It will be the happy hour of Lake Norman while Uptowners have Alive After Five. So everyone’s happy in Charlotte … it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, and your nighttime party station will be at Hickory Tavern in Mooresville at 5 on Thursday! Let’s take it over the sports haven ladies!

We’ll be doing raffles and giving away gift cards every 15 minutes. Last time at the Hickory Tavern Mallard we gifted gals with baskets of Sangria, gift cards to re Salon and Med Spa, free haircuts, and more.

And typically “ladies’ night” is code to men as it’s a place to go to meet ladies. Just saying. Big Sexy is staying downtown at the EpiCentre studios for Alve After Five though … he feels like he might be setting himself up for failure at What Women Want at Hickory Tavern, having spent 26 years trying to fgure out what women really want vs. what we say.

Like “I don’t want anything for my birthday” really means “I want you to think of something yourself and surprise me with a gesture more so than a gift.”
