Thursday, October 4, 2012 – Country’s hottest hits The New 1037 announces that Guenn has joined Rob Tanner and the morning team on The New 103.7.

Most recently Guenn has been waking up listeners early on the Todd Baker & Guenn in the Morning show on K 1047. Guenn will now go across the hall to fulfill a passion for Country music that she’s always had while bringing five years of morning show experience to The New 1037.

“We are thrilled to be able to add someone like Guenn to the Tanner in the Morning show”, said Operations Manager/Program Director D.J. Stout. “Not only is she from here, she has been very successful doing morning radio in this market for a long time and we are very excited to have her in the family.”

Guenn takes the place of Catherine Lane who has been working side by side with Tanner in the Morning as well as holding down the midday shift on The New 1037. Catherine will return to the 10a.m. to 3p.m. workday slot while Chris Allen and Captain Jim Slade remain in mornings.

“We are excited that Catherine can get back to a normal schedule and continue to rule mid days in this market like she has for years,” Stout said.

Guenn will continue her signature Guennertainment reports each weekday morning on K1047/WKQC as well as cover the hottest Hollywood and Country news and gossip on
The New 1037.

“Country music has always been my calling and I can’t wait to get out and meet The New 1037 listeners,” said Guenn. Married with a child on the way Guenn is excited for this opportunity saying “I am so excited to join Tanner’s team and ready to have fun with his wild and crazy crew.”
