I recently rescued Faith here from the Boston Terrier Rescue of NC – and since then, I have quickly become crazy dog lady. Aside from taking pictures of her like she’s a newborn baby, I base my social life around her now, only wanting to go out to places in which she’s welcome. But luckily, there are several dog friendly bars and restaurants in Charlotte – so I can still have a life!
Lucky Dog Bark and Brew (19607 Statesville Road, Cornelius), has Movie Night on Fridays – which features a comedy playing on the big screen beginning at 8:30 p.m. – and this Sunday is NFL Funday, where dogs can play and owners can watch the games. Since Faith is a Boston Terrier, I assume she’s a New England Patriots fan … even though I’m rooting for the Ravens.
There’s also The Dog Bar in NoDa (3307 N. Davidson St.), where you and your “best friend” can sit, stay and drink. 704-370-3595.
Since Iago has come to visit Charlotte, it’s too cold out to go to the patio-pet-friendly places, but check out our list of some local DOG FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS!
