Chase Rice’s Crazy Life Before Country Music!
If you’ve heard of the name Chase Rice it may be have something to do with his number 1 hit “Cruise” he wrote for Florida-Georgia Line. Or it may have something to do with his huge internet and social media presence. Heck you might have even worked with him or grew up with him. I never knew so much about Chase, till now. And I think there is still more I’d love to learn!
If ya haven’t heard yet, Chase Rice grew up in Ashville, North Carolina where he was raised on a farm! Yea he was born in Florida but moved here to the Carolinas and eventually went to the University of North Carolina. He was a linebacker for the UNC football team which eventually landed him a job as a professional athlete with Hendrick Motorsports! Its pretty crazy but he actually used to be the rear tire carrier for Ryan Newman on the Nationwide team. But thats not all.
After his Nascar career he was selected to be part of the Cast of Survivor: Nicaragua where he actually ended up as a season finalist and even played one of his songs, called “Buzz Back” at the end of the seasons reunion show.
After Nascar and TV it was time for Chase to focus on his music career. Since he had been playing guitar since college and his Dad inspired him to follow it, he even once told Chase that “anyone can play a guitar, but no one is really listening until you start singing.” Which to me makes total sense! Since then Chase says he models his albums after his live shows and really wants to build his career through the amazing performances he brings.
With that said I feel we are in for one heck of a treat this Saturday night as he takes over Coyote Joes! Tickets are only $10 and the Chris Lane Band along with Out Of The Blue will play with him! Don’t miss it and pick up your tickets now at Coyote-Joes.com!
