Rosha was surrendered because her owner was allergic to cats. She is a VIP: only $10 to adopt. Rosha is a Personal Assistant: “You’re working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I’ll hold the pages down for you.
Twitch is a very loving dog. He is in the training program and is learning is manners. He walks great on a leash and is learning sit and down. He would make a fabulous running partner and would do well in learning agility; he’ll need that exercise every day. Come to the shelter to meet him.
Suzie is a sweet and affectionate young dog. She enjoys being around her people. When outside, she loves to run and play. Bend down and call her to you and she comes right away. When near you she will sit, lean into you and look up until you give her affection.
Like all sidekicks, I’m just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don’t go looking for trouble but I’m no scaredy-cat, either.
I am Mia. I was found near Second Harvest Food Bank where volunteers there saved me. They brought me to AC&C. Currently, I am in a foster home now while I wait for my forever home. I am a very smart girl. I would love to bring excitement and joy to your home.
Buttercup was a great mom to her kittens, very protective and loving. She would still cry for her kittens some in her foster home, but that should end now that she’s no longer on the other side of the door from them, and she’s otherwise very quiet. She can be shy and seem timid, but will come to you if you extend your hand and talk to her. She loves the attention when you rub the side of her face and pet her, and will snuggle against you and purr. She would do best in a quieter home, without small children or dogs. She likes to be brushed and has great litter box manners.
