    I know for a fact Taylor was genuiely shocked for the ACM win. Um, she didn’t win any other of the 4 awards she was up for that night. Last year she was up for Entertainer of the Year and lost against Carrie.. and that was FAN voted. Taylor dominated 2009-2010 award shows but then her wins began to decline. So honestly, face it; Taylor is just a humble and wonderful person. What kind of person would she be is she was like ‘Oh, I knew I’d win that one’. Her parents did not raise her to be that way and that’s how every artist should be. Taylor works hard and expects none of all the success she has had. Which is why she sells out arenas under 5 minutes. :)

    I totally agree with Flip. I’m shocked that people can still tolerate listening to her voice….. in simple terms, she sucks and the other 5 contestants for EOTY were much more deserving. The only thing entertaining about her is that she still thinks she can sing….. makes me laugh every time

    I didn’t care for Taylor Swift at first but have come to really like her. She sounds genuine and truthful although I am a little concerned what here dating ability is going to be like after a while. I think it is grand that she can now show all those schoolmates, who were not so nice to her, that she doesn’t need them now just like they didn’t need her then! Think about it bullies!

    I agree with Lisa. She worked hard to get here, and with no other wins that night, I was shocked that she won EOTY as well. In my opinion she got snubbed by the academy for the other awards she was nominated for. I like Miranda Lambert as much as the next person, but she hasn’t really been that amazing in the past year to win all the awards she did.

    4. she had some GREAT competition to win the ACM E of the Y award… I was shocked also

    If you all were true country music fans then you should be glad that Taylor Swift came along. Many of our youth are now listening to country music because of Taylor Swift. Isn’t that what we want? More and more folks to become country music fans. Taylor works just as hard as any other artist. She is very talented. She will always have a career writing songs even if people don’t listen to her music so grow up folks. I feel like I am reading 4th graders’ responses.

    Long and short of the story is if she’s chosen to win the award no matter what the voting system…She’s earned it! Obviously if you’re fans are willing to sit and vote for you over and over than you are doing something right! No one can deny talent when it walks in the room and even though her subject material is going to have to grow along with her, she’s a talented writer.

    Taylor swift is a good song writer with many young fans that have admitted on u-tube that many voted multiple times finding ways to game the system and get in more then one vote per computer address.Having a young fan base and being a teen idol does not make someone enertainer of the year .for her to have been in the same catagory as some of the other stars is a joke some of them have worked years and harder then she will ever know to get to where they are they have fans of all ages that have lives and can not vote all day.I think every person she ran against is much more talented and a few she can not hold a candle to when it comes to performing live ,She proved she can not sing when she performed with stevie nicks at an award show she hosted and had the worst performance.And she was suppose to be the best?Who is pathetic,a liar alone in life and mean? I think this song shows a bit of teen attitude not a nice song.

    To hear one more oh thank you fan speaches will make me sick .I think she was a good role model ,but the song mean shows she can also be mean ,she needs to grow up and realize that not everyone will think she is a great performer or that she deserves these awards ,Keith urban, brad paisley and other nominees can out perform and sing her anyday she is not even close to being better live then they are.And every person I know that saw her open for keith has said she sings off key a lot ,and is in no way better then he or many others.
